TRAINING
Technical Skills:
Delivered by St. Lawrence College, the Environmental Service Aide program will help participants prepare for employment in the health care sector. The course addresses all aspects of the healthcare cleaning profession, the importance of proper techniques and practices to reduce the risk of infection. The course includes recommendations by the Provincial Infection Control Advisory Committee (PIDAC) pertaining to the Best Practice Cleaning Document for Environmental Cleaning.

EMPLOYMENT
EOTB will assist participants in securing employment in the environmental services sector. Ongoing coaching is provided to assist with transition to employment. Employers will receive a wage subsidy for 12 weeks.
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
EOTB will purchase training on behalf of eligible candidates. Financial assistance may be available for items such as transportation, daycare, work attire.

Resident of Ontario, legally entitled to work in

Not be in receipt of EI
