An introduction to Food Service Aide: work in hospitals, retirement homes and long-term care facilities.

HIGHLIGHTS:

- Cooking methods for meats, poultry and fish
- Working in long-term care facilities
- Employability skills, such as resume writing, interviewing and job readiness

- First Aid/CPR + AED Level C
- Safe Food Handling

ELIGIBILITY:
- Unemployed
- Reside in Cornwall/SDG/Akwesasne (ON)
- Be a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident or Confirmed Refugee
- Not enrolled in any other training or educational program
- Must meet one of the following:
- Experience a self-identified disability OR
- Be 30 years of age or younger
